Our Beginnings......  A brilliant idea founded by 2 women one dark, rainy and stormy night, after a few quiet drinks.  We found ourselves asking why North Queensland doesnt have similar GLBTi events to those of the bigger cities, just on a smaller scale?    And where are all the GLBTI community hiding?    Girls Next Door believe there is a need for the entire community to get together for more social and networking events within the North Queensland area.   There seems to have been a deterioration within the GLBTI community since we were first on the "scene" many years ago.  Girls Next Door want to bring the sense of community back, embrance a united GLBTI community that stands together and strongly supports each other.    With a passion for celebrating the diversity amongst the community and a desire to break down stereotypes and labels, Libby and Di set the wheels in motion and welcome you to the Girls Next Door, a place that encompases Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and "still deciding" lifestyles, without excluding gay friendly people.   Everyone is welcome at the Girls Next Door!       Mission Statement Girls Next Door have many goals in business, life and love....... One of us says..."What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" ...and the other one of us says..."To have more fun".
